The city administration of Oberursel (Taunus) already uses a fingerprint system for their employees to log on to the network and to protect sensitive documents and to exchange the documents between the employees.

The digital signature via biometrics is seated for:

• Management of the inquiries of employees for: Birth certificates and certificates of marriage, assessment notices, extracts from the penal register
• Instead of from customary supervisor signatures on paper employees via fingerprint can certificate documents electronically and confirm and produce the proof / acknowledgement of it therefore electronically
• The documents which are transmitted to other employees can be provided with a signature
